Who is responsible

Retamar Studio is run by Rodrigo Retamar. You can reach me at hello@retamarstudio.com or through the contact page. Write to me for anything in this notice.

What I collect and why

Only what you type into a form on this site: for example your name, email, business details, city and state and, if you choose, a phone number. I use it to answer you, to prepare and send a snapshot you asked for, to follow up on that request, or to start work you agreed to. I use it because you asked me to, and because I have a legitimate interest in replying to people who contact my business. I do not sell your details, I do not share them for advertising, and I do not add you to a newsletter.

The snapshot checks public information about your business, such as search results and public profiles. It does not use anything private.

Who handles it for me

• Resend, an email service in the United States, delivers form submissions to my inbox and sends you an automatic reply if you gave an email address.
• Formspree, a form service in the United States, keeps a backup copy of each submission.
• Netlify, in the United States, hosts the website and keeps standard technical logs to serve and protect it.
• Cloudflare manages the domain name and provides Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views without cookies.
• Hostinger hosts my email.

These providers act on my instructions. Your details are processed in the United States. If you are in another country, that is where your information goes when you send a form. This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and its analytics do not follow you across other sites.

How long I keep it

Messages and snapshot requests are kept for up to two years so I can follow up on a conversation, then deleted from my inbox, from Formspree and from my records, unless you ask me to delete them sooner. Client project data is kept for as long as the contract requires and the law requires records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details I hold about you, ask me to stop using them, or object to how I use them, by writing to hello@retamarstudio.com. I will answer within 30 days. If you live in a place with a data protection authority or state privacy law, you can also complain to that authority or use the rights it gives you.

Changes

If I change how I handle your details, I will update this page and the date at the top.
